Obituary for Bernadine E. Czaplewski Bernadine Czaplewski, 88 Lincoln resident Bernadine E. Czaplewski, 88 of Lincoln died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 30th at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elm Creek. The Rev.

Jose Chavez will officiate. Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Elm Creek. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

A Rosary Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 am at the church. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.

osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Bernadine was born September 10, 1929 in Loup City, Nebraska to John and Mary (Iwan) Kuta.

She was raised in Loup City where she attended Wiggle Creek High School. On October 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Joseph Czaplewski, Jr. The couple made their home in Loup City. Bernadine also lived in Elm Creek and Uehling before moving to Lincoln in 2016.

Bernadine enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening and attending family gatherings. Survivors include her children Joyce Goc of Loup City, NE, Cyndi Horvatich and husband Frank of Uehling, NE, Conni Little and husband Marvin of Lincoln, Geri Meier and husband Morgan of Elm Creek, and Ken Czaplewski and wife Amanda of Pensacola, FL; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sister JoAnn Sok and husband Richard of Grand Island; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Marjorie Zimmer, son David Czaplewski, son-in-law Kenneth Goc, grandson Robert Goc, brothers James, Gerald and Emil Kuta and sister Lillian Klimek.
