Obituary for Jeanne E. Jorgensen Jeanne E. Jorgensen, 50, passed away on September 19, 2018 at her home in Kearney. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the O’Brien-Straatmann-Redinger Funeral Home with the Pastor Dean Pofahl officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Kearney Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Jeanne E. Jorgensen was born on September 28, 1967 to E.A. Dusty and Roma (Stobbe) Jorgensen. Jeanne received her education from Kearney High School, graduating with the class of 1985.

Jeanne was united in marriage to John Paul Richards on February 29, 2000. The couple made their home in Kearney, where Jeanne and John owned and operated the Play Pen together since 1990. Jeanne enjoyed playing computer games, reading books, gambling and all animals, especially dogs.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Paul Richards of Kearney; step-daughter Traci McKeon and her husband Dan of Odessa; grandchildren Bridget, Luke, Caleb and Lydia McKeon; mother: Roma Jorgensen of Kearney; brothers Jim Jorgensen and wife Kristi of Casper, WY and John Jorgensen and wife Kristen of Omaha; niece Shelby Jorgensen and nephew Colton Jorgensen; along with many other relatives and friends.
