Obituary for Bertha Westerman Bertha Westerman, 56, a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018. A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist, Thibodaux, Louisiana from 8:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. The burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Thibodaux, Louisiana. She is survived by her siblings, Wayne Westerman and wife, Tracey, Sandy Westerman Breaux and husband, Kerril, Randy Westerman, Sharon Westerman, and Joey Westerman and wife, Holly; and nephews and nieces, Dru Westerman (and Amanda Dempster), Hali Westerman, Treva Breaux, Clay Westerman, Ty Westerman, and Dex Westerman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Enola Westerman; grandparents, Jean Batiste and Sadie Roger, and Camille Westerman, Sr. and Lilly Westerman. She was employed with J. Ray McDermott for 25 years as an accounts payable clerk. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Acadian Ambulance personnel, Family Doctor Clinic physicians Dr. Francis Robichaux, Dr. Jody Plaisance and staff, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center’s emergency room physicians, nurses, medical staff as well as the numerous intensive care unit physicians, nurses, and medical staff for the tremendous care that they provided for Bertha.
