JANESVILLE— Bettie Ann Van Patten, 77, of Janesville, formerly of Antrim, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Bettie was born on January 14, 1941; the daughter of Norval and Elizabeth (Deverney) Kleeman. She loved country music, dancing, spending time with her family, and was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.

Bettie is survived by her children, Larry Scott (Tammy) Katzur of Grayling, MI and Renee Ann (Bud) Barnett of Janesville; grandchildren, Danny Clark, Heather Clark, Shelby W. Barnett, Zak Bonsall, Dakota Schmaling (all of Janesville), Marcus Katzur of Warrensburg, MO, and Douglas Katzur of Grayling, MI; great grandchildren, Ben, Alex, Matthew, Kota, Reece, and Ana; siblings, Kenneth Kleeman and Linda Kay Kleeman-Coon. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Kenneth A. Van Patten; siblings, Rose Marie “Tooty” Kleeman-Shine, Theodore “Teddy” Kleeman, Sharon Lee Kleeman, James Alan Kleeman, Melvin Arthur “Sonny” Kleeman, Lonnie “Siy” Kleeman, Mary Lou “Sally” Kleeman-Zelanak, Robert Dennis Kleeman, Bonnie Elaine Kleeman-Watrous, and Norval Kleeman. A Celebration of Bettie’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Antrim, Michigan.
