Obituary for Betty Hilton Heaven gained one of earth’s best mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, wives, and friends today. Betty Hilton, age 84, left her earthly home on Thursday, June 28, 2018 to change her address to her Heavenly home. All of us who were privileged to know Ms. Betty were blessed beyond measure.

Ms. Betty left her imprint on our hearts with her contagious smile and displayed the compassion and love of Christ to each life she touched. Betty had a natural gift of making every person feel important and cared for regardless of who they were. For 47 years, Ms. Betty worked and ministered at the Marietta Eye Clinic where she was dearly loved and cherished by the clinic’s staff members and patients.

It was Betty’s schedule to leave work each day at 2:00pm so it wasn’t any surprise that Betty left her earthly home at 2:00pm. Betty’s life was truly a life well lived to the fullest. She loved well and served others well.

Her legacy lives in the hearts of those she loved. Our great loss is Heavens great gain. Betty was predeceased by her husband, G. Richard S. Hilton Sr. who went to his heavenly home on December 22, 2012.

Betty’s husband was her closest companion and love of her life, and he was commonly known as Coach Hilton. We are certain that her Richard was waiting at Heaven’s Gate to welcome Betty home. Betty’s Heavenly Father would tell her, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 13th at Cobb Vineyard Church, Kennesaw followed by her Funeral services at 6pm with Pastor Thomas Cooley officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Kelly Kennedy, four sons:, John Kennedy, Mark Hilton, Kevin Kennedy and wife, Thresa, and Sam Hilton & wife, Krissy, 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Contributions in memory of Betty may be made to Cobb Vineyard Church, 3206 Old Highway 41, N.W., Kennesaw, GA 30144 where Betty and Richard were faithful members.
