Betty J. Baker, 74, of Williamsport, died peacefully Friday, May 11, 2018, at her home. Born Dec. 3, 1943, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Weigle and Florence (Bechdel) Finnerty.

Betty worked in housekeeping for 25 years at Divine Providence Hospital. She enjoyed woodworking, playing bingo and loved to dance. Betty was a champion horseshoe player.

Surviving are siblings, Donald Weigle and Florence Bower, both of Williamsport; and her best friend, Emily J. Smith, of Williamsport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Michael and Charles Finnerty. In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements entrusted to Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
