Betty Jane Herman, 97, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at home. She was born January 30, 1921, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John and Lucy Doumont Herman. Prior to retirement she worked in the packing department at Jeannette Glass.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette and the rosary altar society. She is survived by several cousins and neighbor Diane. Friends will be received Friday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc., 201 N. First St., Jeannette.

A blessing service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Lisik officiating. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private.
