Obituary for Betty L. Payne Betty L. Payne, 91, of St. Albans passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Teays Center, Hurricane. She was born in Clendenin to the late Ira Lake and Effie Mae Bullard Shamblin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Okey Payne; son, Jeff A. Payne and several brothers and sisters.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of the St. Albans Church of the Nazarene. She was the youngest of fourteen. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Becky Payne of Winfield; daughter-in-law, Valerie M. Payne of North Carolina; grandchildren, Daniel Jeffrey Payne and Megan Marie Payne.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Cunningham Memorial Park, Lower Mausoleum Chapel, St. Albans with Pastor David Johns officiating.
