Obituary for Betty Means Betty Means, was born on October 10, 1940 in Enoch, Texas to Lorin Shumway Mask Sr. and Lula Helen Mathews Mask. On December 30, 2018, she went peacefully into the next life. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gilmer, on January 2, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Kelsey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home. On May 17, 1957, she married Jennings Donell Means in the Kelsey Community.

She was a loving housewife and mother and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her children, Donald & Candice Means, Rhema Hoppie, Alana & Rick Kindle, Dennis & Jan Means, Julie & Walter Redding, Eileen & Glen Frazier, Carla & Scott Hill, Damon & Lucinda Means; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Lorin Mask, Jr.; sisters, Phyllis Bullard, Beverly Hensley, Juanell Marsh, Mylinda Shaw and Letitia Brill.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jennings Donell Means; son, Victor Means; sister, Carolyn Diane Pritchett; and by her grandchildren, Edward Redding, Erran Redding and Jackie Lin Means.
