She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing cards with family and friends. She was a giving, kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always up for a cup of coffee at a moment’s notice. She is survived by a son Jeff (Darla) Smith of Oglesby, 2 daughters: Amy (Dan) Loescher of Belvidere and Jane (Gary) Knapp of Putnam, 6 grandchildren: Ryan Smith, Sarah Mathieu, Chris and Jake Loescher, Kate Gredlics and David Knapp and 6 great-grandchildren: Madilyne, Jace, Brady, Eliana, Nicole and Truman.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 1 sister. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.
