Beulah Lorene Midyett of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Viburnum, MO, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Steelville Senior Living at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 7 days. Beulah was born February 18, 1926 in Viburnum, Missouri to Firman and Virgie Mincher Midyett. Beulah was employed with Southwestern Bell in St. Louis for over thirty years and retired in 1981.

She was a faithful and active member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Fenton for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and traveling with a group of ladies to other states and foreign countries. Beulah always loved the times she spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Johnny Midyett and Leonard Midyett and wife Betty; three sisters, Julia Dotson and husband Wilson, Lula Brakefield and husband Johnny and Lura Bazzell and husband Ken; and sister-in-law, Susan Midyett. She is survived by her one brother, Lawrence Midyett and wife Carol of Viburnum, MO; one sister, Erma Abney and husband Devound of Viburnum, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Pastor Ken Simpson officiating. The eulogy was shared by a nephew, Ken Bazzell. Special music of “If You knew where I was Standing” and Beulah Land” was sung and played by Kevin and Kim Abney.

Committal prayer and interment were in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery, Viburnum, MO. Honored to be casket bearers were Mike Midyett, Mike Abney, Ronnie Abney, Billy Midyett, Dennis Bazzell, Bobby Midyett and Ken Bazzell. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
