Obituary for Beverly Jeanne Hartline Beverly Jeanne Hartline, age 85, of Royal Oak, formerly of Sterling Heights, passed away January 8, 2019 at Waltonwood Assisted Living in Royal Oak. Beverly was the beloved wife of James Hartline; whom she married July 12, 1958 in Lakewood, Ohio; loving mother of Barbara (Bob) Doppel, John (Laura) Hartline and Susan (Owen) Dorsey; proud grandmother of Michael Doppel, Emma Doppel, Stephen Hartline and Joshua Hartline. She was preceded in death by her parents Carlisle and Maria Tresise; and her brother Richard (the late Jody) Tresise.

Beverly was born December 15, 1933 in Cleveland and grew up in Lakewood, Ohio. After graduating from Wooster College and moving to Michigan, she opted to continue her education at Macomb Community College. Following a long and successful career in computer programming, Beverly decided to retire in 1994 from the Kmart Headquarters located in Troy.

In her retirement years, she loved spending her free time with her grandchildren. Memorial visitation Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 2 pm at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak.
