Obituary for Billie Ann Burke-Moyer Beloved Mother, Gaga, Sister and Friend- Billie joined her mother and father next to Jesus on Tuesday evening. She was a blessing and touched the lives of everyone that knew her. She was a ray of sunshine.
A vivacious, fun-loving and beautiful person. She was truly one of a kind. She had a passion for cosmetology and met so many loved ones through her artistry.
Her memory will live on through all that knew and loved her. She will never be forgotten. She is survived by her only daughter, Christina Moyer Smith and her partner Melissa.
Her grandchildren Krista Vera and her husband Omar, Lee Moyer, JC Rodriguez, Katie Smith, Carlon Smith and Alyssa Washington. Her great grandchildren Leo, Lucas, Omar and Mabel Vera. Her siblings; Wesley Burke and his wife Rosanne, Tony Burke and his wife Coila, Gina Byrd and her husband Max, her nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends who adored her.
Billie is flying high with our Lord Jesus Christ and continuing to watch over everyone that she loved. There will be a celebration of Billie’s life Saturday, October 20th at Seacoast Church in West Ashley at 2:00 pm. 2049 Savannah Highway Charleston, S.C. 29407 We welcome anyone to share stories, memories or just sweet thoughts that you have about Billie.
Following the service, we want to welcome all of Billie’s loved ones to join us for a meal together. The meal will be held at the home of Rob and Melissa Flick. 226 Wappoo Road Charleston, S.C. 29407 Flowers may be sent to Seacoast church on Saturday morning or in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Carolina Youth Development Center – an organization that supports children in foster care, something that was close to Billie’s heart.
