Obituary for Billie Newby Conner Billie Jean (Newby) Conner of Foster, Oklahoma was born to Otto and Beulah (Covington) Newby on August 16, 1930 in Ada, Oklahoma and passed from this life on October 30, 2018 in Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. Billie grew up and attended school at Ada, Oklahoma. She married J. R. “Fat” Conner and together they made their home in Foster, Oklahoma.

Billie worked as an inspector for the USDA. She was a professional barrel racer in the 60’s. In her spare time, Billie enjoyed riding horses and cooking.

Surviving family to cherish Mrs. Conner’s memory include: Sons: Jim Conner and Patrick Conner and his wife, Gloria of Foster, Oklahoma Daughter: Susan Swanson and her husband, Steve of Garland, Texas 1 sister: Toby Lirette of Locust Grove, Oklahoma 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by: Her husband: J. R. “Fat” Conner Parents: Otto and Beulah Newby Sister: Gee Verdin Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Doyle Community Church with Jean Patterson officiating.
