Blanche was born to Leon “Lynn” and Eloise Richardson on July 4, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a, “twinny”.

The two firecrackers Boyd and Blanche entered this world on America’s birthday. Blanche married Harold Rivington and moved back to Snowflake, where she had spent many years as a child in 1978. She enjoyed quilting and made many quilts for people in the community.

She made quilts for every baby born in the Taylor 6th Ward for at least 10 years. She was an incredible grandma. She loved genealogy.

She was a nurse for over 40 years and would sing to her patients and draw smiley faces on their toes. She is survived by her children Deborah Rivington, Paul Ian Rivington, Patricia Julie (Pacer) Muder, Helen Louise MacDonald, Mark (Shannon) Rivington, Glenn Lionel (Fani) Rivington, Kristie Lynn (Walter) Blackman, Shelly Faith (Michael Akins) Suddreth, 23 Grandkids and 10 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Rivington, by children Guy Charles Rivington and Heather May Rivington, siblings Leon Richardson and Leona Richardson Galloway.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Centennial Chapel in Taylor.
