Bonnie Lou Lambert, 88 HARTFORD CITY – Bonnie Lou Lambert, 88, went to be with her Lord at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her residence in Greenfield. She was born in Hartford City on February 6, 1930 to the late Claude Thomas Boyer and Lacy Pauline (Boles) Boyer. Bonnie graduated from Hartford City High School in 1946.

She married her 1st husband, Stuart Duane Lykens on September 5, 1948 and he precedes her in death on December 29, 1966. She married Ronald “Ron”… Read More » Clifton Lambert on December 8 1967 and he precedes her in death on January 26, 2003. Bonnie had formerly worked at 3M Company, Chatfield Paper, Joe’s IGA and retired from Bill’s Food Grocery Store.

She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Hartford City. She was formerly a member of Ladies of the Moose, where she was the recorder for the Moose Auxiliary and received the Star Fellowship Ring from the Women of the Moose Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Mexican Train Dominos with her friends.

She enjoyed visiting with family and loved her grandchildren. Bonnie with be sadly missed by children, Claudia K. (husband, Kenneth) Lauber of Austin, TX, Gary D. (Luwanda) Lykens of Greenfield, Lloyd A. (wife, Gerry) Lykens of Speedway, IN, Diana D. Springer of Bonduel, WI, Paul R. Lykens of Lawton, OK, Richard “Dick” C. (wife, Brenda) Lambert of Panama City, FL, Kathryn A. Hughes of Las Vegas, NV and Michael A. Lambert of Panama City, FL; 14 grandchildren and many many great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas L. (wife, Donna JoAnn) Boyer of New Castle; several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by a son, Richard K. Lykens and a grandchild.

Funeral Service will be at 3 pm Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High Street, Hartford City. Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 to 3 pm Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
