Brenda “Gail”‘s Obituary Brenda “Gail” Anthony, 71, of Gastonia, passed away January 17, 2019 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. She was born June 4, 1947, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Dick Enoch Leroy Hannah and Maude Rector Hannah. Gail was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church and loved by all. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rick Anthony; children, Angela King and Rickey Anthony; grandchildren, Amber, Austin and Alita Anthony, Ashton and Landon King, and Stephanie Vogal; great-granddaughter, Avery King; sisters, Sheila Foster and Barb Parker; brother, Dickey Hannah; daughters-in-law, Linda Kay Foster Anthony and Amy Purvis; son-in-law, Scott King; sisters-in-law and families, Mozelle Huffstetler, Becky Britton and Debbie Stanley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Eddie Joe Huffstetler, Jr. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Linwood Church of God, 830 Linwood Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Chad Collins.

The family will receive friends 11 am – 1 pm prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gail Anthony Memorial Fund, c/o Rick Anthony, 2308 Cedar Oak Circle, Gastonia, NC 28052.
