Fox, age 70, of Mayville passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at McLaren Lapeer Region. Brenda was born May 22, 1948 in Lapeer to the late Lee and Priscilla (Teets) Peet. She graduated from Mayville High School with the class of 1966.

Brenda married George Fox in Caro, MI. He preceded her in death in 2002. Brenda retired from Meijer in Lapeer after 20 years and was the owner of Lapeer County Credit Bureau.

She enjoyed knitting, reading, quilting, sewing and gardening. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Renae Ferrett; two grandchildren, Brad Buckner and Sasha Powless; one brother, Mike (Delores) Peet; one brother-in-law, Marty Good; one nephew, Mike Peet Jr.; two nieces, Tammy Peet and Amanda (Sean) Astley; one great-niece, Amelia Astley; and one great-nephew, Dalton Peet. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fox in 2002; and her sister, Lisa Good in 2000.

The Family will receive visitors from 3-8 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2019 and from 10 AM until the time of service Thursday, February 27, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home, Mayville, MI. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home with Pastor Carole Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Center Cemetery.
