Brent K. Dille, age 60 passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was born January 17, 1958 to Tharon and Anna Dille. He grew up in Kaysville, Utah and attended Davis High School.

He married Patty Robertson in 1983, later divorced. He later married Deb Giersz. Brent served five years in the US Navy on the USS Constellation CV 64.

He was an Aviation Hydraulics Mechanic. This is when he began his passion for airplanes. After he served in the Navy, he moved to MI; to work for Dyna Electron.

He later moved to Tucson, AZ; and worked at Lear Jet. He moved back to Utah and began working at HAFB. He was an Industrial Engineering Technician (Planner).

He was very passionate about his job, and “taking care” of the Military Troops. He later acquired the “nickname”- “Siri” because he was so knowledgeable. He could look at an airplane and tell you exactly what it was and how it worked.

He retired after 40 years of service at HAFB. He lived life to its fullest! Always on the go, he was not someone who liked to hang out at home.

He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye! The “party” got started after he arrived at any gathering, whether it was a BBQ or Camping. He made sure it was a good time.

He loved to team up with his brother Kim and tell jokes. If one didn’t make you laugh, the other one would! Brent was a jokester and he was known to ask you if this smells bad?

And then when you smelled it, he would push it in your face, and laugh! He loved his family and spending time with them. He was an excellent water and snow skier.

He enjoyed a good golf game, camping, hunting and fishing. He was most passionate about his boat, “Deepfloat”. He loved spending time on that boat with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deb, three children; Ceara (Clay) Jaggi, Jared Dille, Janice (Dan) Kast, five grandchildren; Drake and Nash Jaggi, Emery and Jameson Dille, George Kast, five siblings; Elsa (Dale) Zweifel, Linda (Greg) Sanders, Annette (Jim) Beazer, Kim (Carol) Dille, Diana (Curtis) Simmons, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a nephew. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.

Friends may visit family Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
