Bruce’s Obituary Bruce Alan Jacobs born July 26, 1954 in New York, NY passed away at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC on February 11, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents Casper Daniel Jacobs and Lenore Cohen Jacobs of Babylon, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Diana Farfan-Jacobs, and his son, Stephen Maltese Jr. (with Katherine), as well as his brother, Lawrence Jacobs (with Jeanna) of Long Island, NY.

Bruce was an incredible grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren: Austin, Gabriel, and Adeline. He was an attentive caretaker to his mother-in-law Maria M. Farfan (formerly of Long Island) whom he loved like his own mother. Surrounded by his family, Bruce is also remembered by his loving sister-in-law Patricia Marinaro (with Steven) of Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as three nieces and nephews which he treated as his own: Lauren Jacobs (North Carolina), Elizabeth Marinaro, and Alec Marinaro (South Carolina).

He will also be dearly missed by his best friend from childhood, Doug Chandler (with Pat) of Kansas City, MO whom he loved like a brother. Lastly, he is survived by many more close friends from Long Island and Myrtle Beach, whom he considered as family, along with his many beloved cats. A Celebration of Life getogether is planned for Saturday, Feb 16,2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Socastee Station 4504 Socastee Blvd (707), Myrtle Beach, SC, 29588.
