“Buster” Lyle L. Leak, 73 of Grand Island died Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Celebration of life service will be 10:30 AM Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate.

Burial of ashes will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army and United Veterans Honor Guard. Lyle was born April 11, 1945 at San Francisco, CA the son of Sidney and Lillian (Knott) Leak.

He was raised and received his education in Grand Island. Buster honorably served his country in the US Army from 1969-1975. Some of his enjoyments included metal detecting and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Roger Leak of Lincoln; his four-legged companion, Pee Wee; special friends, Don and Judy Herzog and nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian and sister, Sharon Orcutt Truitt. Memorials are suggested to the Hall County Hero Flight.
