Callie Putnam Murphy, age 98, widow of Millard Murphy, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the National Health Care of Clinton. She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late William Guy and Elizabeth Cooper Murphy. Mrs. Murphy is survived by her two sons, Wayne Murphy (Zander) of Clinton and Bruce Murphy (Gloria) of Greenwood; her daughter, Gail Murphy of Clinton; her four grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, and her six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her three brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church of Joanna with burial to take place at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1 to 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Joanna, 301 Magnolia Street, Joanna, SC 29351.
