Obituary for Carey Lou McCay Carey L. McCay went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at age 61. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlin & Martha McCay. She is survived by two children, Michael (Kala) McCay and Rachel (Jesse) Thompson; her caregivers, Melinda H. Oates and Reena Doss; and nephews, cousins and friends.

Carey had worked for Jefferson County Board of Education and Enon Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church. Carey requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Enon Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund.
