She and Carl settled in Cheshire, where she lived for many years before moving to North Haven with her daughter and eventually to Florida seven years ago. She is also survived by her brother, Ray Mittenthal and wife Arlene, who Carol considered a sister rather than a sister-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends, both in Connecticut and Florida.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Allen Mittenthal and sister, Rose Mittenthal. Carol’s daughters want to extend a special thank you to the caring nurses and staff at Vitas Healthcare for taking care of her with such love and compassion Funeral service will be Thursday (September 27) at 10 a.m. at Temple Beth David, 3 Main Street, Cheshire.
