Carol Ann’s Obituary Carol Ann (Palko) Odenwald, 77, of Telford, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital in Bloomsburg. She was the wife of Edward Odenwald to whom she was married for 53 years. Born August 28, 1941, in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Suzanne (Keresh) Palko.

Carol Ann worked as a medical transcriptionist in the Radiology Department at Grand View Hospital for most of her working life. After retiring, she remained busy as a member of the Priscilla Chapter 64, Order of The Eastern Star, previously Reliance Chapter 503. As a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, she served as Worthy Matron and served in other positions and committees over the course of 29 years.

Carol Ann was also a member of the Order of the Amaranth, Lansdale Chapter 65 where she was a past Royal Matron, and member of Temple Shrine No. 22 (Norristown). She also enjoyed participation in Red Hats and the Indian Valley Women’s Club.

She cherished the friendships that she made in these organizations and knowing that she contributed to charitable work through these organizations. On voting days, Carol Ann would be found registering voters at Tylersport Firehouse in Salford Township. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Rebecca Jellen and her husband, Peter of Telford, Edward “James” Odenwald and his wife, Jennifer, of Telford, and Stephanie Clemens and her husband, Daniel, of Westminster, MD; seven grandchildren, Mitchell Jellen, Miranda Jellen, Justice Odenwald, Ashlyn Odenwald, Jadyn Odenwald, Dakota Clemens, and Colton Clemens.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 10 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Rd, Telford, PA 18969; the family will greet friends following the services. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, from 5 – 8 PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. 667 Harleysville Pike Telford, PA 18969. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Shriners Hospital for Children (Attention: Finance) 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19140.
