Obituary of Carol Reasor Carol Ann Reasor, 75, of West Nyack, New York, passed away on December 3, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in the Bronx, New York to Eugene and Matilda (Diehl) Murray on December 25, 1942. She earned a degree from St. Helena’s High School and went on to graduate from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School.

She worked as a legal secretary for Janow and Meyer LLC. for over 20 years. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband to Alaska, Italy, and other European countries.

In addition, she was an active member of West Nyack II Senior Citizen Club and St. Anthony’s Parish. Carol enjoyed her weekly dinners and visits with good friends. Most of all, Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and being Ah-Ma to her beloved Matthew and Kyle.

Carol was extremely proud of her grandsons and enjoyed celebrating their milestones and watching them grow into young men. Carol is survived by her devoted husband, John W. Reasor of West Nyack, her loving sons, Timothy (Catherine) Reasor of Averill Park, NY and Christopher (Jillian) Reasor of Howell, NJ, four grandsons, Matthew, Kyle, Michael and Robert. In addition she is survived by her brother, Eugene (Elizabeth) Murray of Clearwater, FL, sister-in-law, Aine (Richard) Waldron of East Stroudsburg, PA, cousins Jeanine (William) Reilly, Gerard (Mary Ellen) Donoghue, Kevin (Maria) Donoghue, Michelle (Paul) Shinners, Larry (Jean) Diehl, Dennis Diehl, and Arlene Zonts, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at St. Anthony’s Church on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery at 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY. Visitation will be held at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home at 728 W. Nyack Rd.

West Nyack, NY 10994 from 4-7pm on Thursday, December 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol’s name to St Jude’s Research Hospital / ALSAC 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Marc S. Zimmerman for many years of exceptional dedication to Carol and to the nurses and staff of United Hospice of Rockland for their loving care.
