Carol M. Hendra, 80, of Easton, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her home. Born December 12, 1938 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marguerite (Zaring) Plum. Her first husband, John F. Hardin, Sr., and her second husband, Richard “Dutch” Hendra, died earlier.

Carol was a graduate of Easton High School. She retired from SuperValu where she worked for many years. Previously, she and her husband owned and operated the former Dutch’s Bar and Grill, Easton.

Carol loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed shuffleboard, dancing and watching television. Surviving are a son, John F. Hardin and his wife Kari, of Nottingham, PA; two daughters, Susan C. Morrison and her husband Bruce “Scotty”, of Palmerton, and Patsy A. Henn and her husband Ray, with whom she resided; a sister, Peggy Smith, of Florida; and two granddaughters, Shana McMasters and her husband Patrick and Alisa Lapp and her husband Rodney.

In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by two sons, Peter and Paul Hardin, a daughter, Linda M. Greffe, and six siblings. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick St., Easton. Call Thursday 11-11:30am in the funeral home.
