Chaka Dwanette Hall of Irving, Texas February 14, 1976 – December 21, 2018 Chaka Dwanette Hall, 42, a resident of Irving since 2000, and a Human Re Trainer for Dallas County Juvenile Department, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Irving. Born February 14, 1976 in Osceola, Arkansas, she is the daughter of Roy Pugh and Katrina Hall. She graduated from Arkansas State University and worked for Dallas County for eighteen years.

She was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. Survivors include a son Tevin Thompson and his fiancée, Cynthia Perez of Austin; her mother, Katrina Hall of Irving; her father Roy Pugh and wife Diane of Osceola, Arkansas; brothers, Fredrick Hall and wife Lisa of Mansfield, TX, Zackary Hall and wife Denise of Irving, Roy Pugh, Jr. of Dallas, and Scottie Pugh and wife Adrienne of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and sister Tiffany Denkins and her husband Joe of Mesquite The family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 316 East Shady Grove in Grand Prairie.

Pastor Darnell Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
