Charles Dean Bowen, 64 of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on July 25, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1954 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles and Dorothy (Grizzle) Bowen. He graduated from Holdenville High School.

In his younger years of life he worked in the oilfield all around Oklahoma. Afterward, he moved to Dallas, Texas with his uncles and they began the used car sales business. He worked doing various construction jobs on the DFW airport remodel and terminal expansion… Read More » project.

He retired two years ago and began his life of leisure. He enjoyed being with his friends and family and cooking during this time. He also like to get away and go camping and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Don Bowen. He is survived by his children, Scotty Bowen and wife Traci of Holdenville, Monica Clifford of Midwest City, JD Bowen and Dylan Bowen and wife Ruth, Corey Pendergrass and Chad Pendergrass all of Blue Springs, Missouri, grandchildren Colby, Chelby, Christopher, Stephanie, Lilly, Samuel, Audrina, Parker, and Maverick, sister Kay Hadley and husband Gene of Edmond, sister-in-law Marie Bowen of San Antonio, Texas, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service is pending at this time.
