Obituary for Mr. Charles Edward Pollard “Red Man” Charles Edward Pollard was born on September 4, 1952 to Prince Edward Pollard and Ella Mae Black Pollard. He is a graduate of Apopka Memorial High School, Class of 1970. In his senior year, he was a football star.

Later, he served in the United States Army where he was awarded for his marksmanship with being a skilled shooter. He was married to Patricia Neals. Charles furthered his education as he attended Valencia Community College, seeking his degree in Business Management.

Throughout the years, Charles moved to Texas where he started his family business of Janitorial Service and later returned to Apopka, Florida. Charles was a believer in his heart acknowledging our Lord and Savior. On Wednesday, July 11, 2018, Charles Edward Pollard took his flight to the land of Joy and Peace forever.

He was preceded in death by: sons, Dewayne Pollard (Deceased on July 10, 2018), Emanuel Pollard; parents, Prince Edward Pollard and Ella Mae Black Pollard; brother, John Wayne Pollard; brother-in-law, Bobby Freeman, uncle, Sim Black. He leaves to cherish his memories to: daughter, Ashika Tene Pollard; son, Prince Sedric Pollard (Stormie); grandson, Prince Storm; brothers, Prince Edward Pollard, Jr. (Pearl), James Timothy Pollard (Marilyn); sisters, Willie Mae Freeman, Catherine Aiken Jones (Wintzer), ; sister-in-law, Cheryl Pollard; aunts, Velma Ware (Leonard), Mary Julia Black; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
