Charles L Kairis , August 26, 1971 — November 27, 2018

Charles L. “Charlie” Kairis, 47, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018 at the Lighthouse Nursing Home where he resided in Ishpeming, MI. Charlie was born on August 26, 1971 at KI Sawyer AFB, MI to the late retired AF MSGT William “Bill” Kairis and Robin Kairis who still resides there. Charlie had a love of art with his drawings and even did signs for businesses and a school gym floor. He then later used his art through tattooing and all were his originals. He loved the Green Bay Packers and always tuned in for the game and he so loved his music.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Robin Kairis, of Gwinn; and a sister, Elaine Eckardt, of Gaylord, MI. He is also survived by a “brother from another mother” and best friend of 34 years, Denny Elkins, of Florida. No service will be held and those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are kindly asked to consider the National MS Society in his memory in lieu of flowers.
