Charles L. Marshall, Sr., 79 of Vesper Street, Beech Creek passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Susque View in Lock Haven. He was born on July 27, 1938 to Russell L. Marshall and Mabel E. Quick. Charles graduated from Wellsboro High School and later entered the U.S. Army.

He retired from SCI Rockview and was an avid golfer and loved to bowl. He married Joyce W. Bower on September 4, 1965. He was the loving father of six sons, Ronald A. Bower, Sr. (Toni R.) of Mill Hall, Russell A. Marshall of Montoursville, Rodney K. Marshall (Colleen R.) of Maytown, Charles L. Marshall, Jr. of Union Grove, Wisconsin and David L. Marshall (Barbara) of Trout Run.

Charles is also survived by his grandchildren, Ronald A. Bower, Jr., Michael J. Bower, Alyssa N Marshall, Christopher Haggard, Kaylee M. Marshall, Chase L. Marshall, Shayna Schultz, Ashlee Hogsett, Kyle Bower, Crystal Moritko, David Marshall, Bobbi Jo Keith, Susan McMonagle and Desiree Lynch. He was also blessed with 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was proceeded in death by a son, Richard J. Bower (Ann) of Massachusetts, two sisters, Connie M. Wodrig and Delores D. Marshall and a granddaughter, Jennifer Bower.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Blanchard. Pastor Christopher A. Davis will be officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
