Obituary for Charles Simoneaux Charles Simoneaux, 91, a native and resident of Napoleonville, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018. A visitation will be held in his honor on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Napoleonville, Louisiana from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery, Napoleonville, Louisiana. He is survived by his children, Cheryl Talbot and husband Gregory, George Simoneaux, and Charles “Chuckie” Simoneaux and wife Cheryl; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-laws, Betty Politz and Kate Politz.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille Politz Simoneaux; parents, Charles and Virginia “Jeanne” Simoneaux; sister, Virgie Dugruise; brother, David Simoneaux. He was an Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War. After he retired he moved back to Napoleonville and worked for Cane Air, Inc., drove cane trucks, and drove a school bus for AHS sports.

He was also a very active Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus 1099 in Napoleonville for many years. His family would like to thank the staff at Assumption Health and Rehab who took great care of him for 6 years, the staff of Assumption Community Hospital, Dr. Charles Bolotte, Dr. Keith Landry, and Dr. Eric Gravois.
