He was a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donnia Porche; son, Jess A. Porche, Jr. and wife, Valerie; daughter Sherry Lynn Perry and companion, Chris Brown; twelve grandchildren, Frank Ortiz, Darrell Dunn Jr., Mitchel W. Newton, Daylan Russell, Krysten Wetegrove, Katie, T.J., and Brandie Perry, Jess III and Jayla Porche, Jacob Perry, and Alyssa Johnson; brother, Claude “Smoke” J. Porche; and sister, Debbie Poiencot and husband, Donald.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Marie Porche; parents, Claude and Lois Porche; and brother, Orville F. Porche. Private services will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be given at www.
