Obituary for James Joseph Gauthreaux Obituary for James Joseph Gauthreaux James Joseph Gauthreaux, 64, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on September 6, 2018. A visitation will be held in his honor on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at St. Genevieve Church, Thibodaux, LA, from 9:00 am until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.

Burial will be at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Donna B. Gauthreaux; daughter, Laura (Daniel) Wilcox; three sisters, Joyce V. Hankel, Linda (Jerry) G. Blanchard; and Hermanie Gauthreaux; brothers, Paul (June) Gauthreaux, and Spencer (Keith Matherne) Gauthreaux. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Adrienne and John Wilcox.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lillian Marie Faucheux Gauthreaux; two sisters, Rita Murphy, and Helen V. Hastings; and a brother, Frank Verbos. James had a passion for teaching and loved to see the world. Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
