Obituary for Robert Hymel Robert Louis Hymel was born November 12, 1954. He was a native of Houston, TX and a resident of Labadieville, Louisiana passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at the age of 63. A visitation will be held to celebrate his life on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Landry’s Funeral Home, Labadieville, Louisiana from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 am.

The burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery, Napoleonville, LA. He was an avid fisherman, loved his woodworking crafts and music, spending time with family but most of all he adored all of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pamela Ruth Jordy Hymel; daughters, Crystal Ledet and husband, Cleveland, Monica Bailey and husband, Harry Jr., and April Duet and husband, Jeffery; six grandchildren, Justin Bailey, Nicholas Duet, Alexis Duet, Alyssa Bailey, Bradley Duet and Nevaeh Ledet; one great-grandchild, Jackson Bailey; his dog, Beau; sisters, Priscilla Roe, Frances Payne, Enora Murphy; brothers, Samuel Hymel, Sidney Hymel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Patrick Hymel, Sr. and Evelyn Geraldine Hymel; grandparents, Joseph Leonie Hymel, Angelina Rodriguez, Samuel Leslie Whitaker, and Agnes A. Pentacost; two brothers, Norman Dee Hymel, Norman Hymel, Jr.; and three sisters, Norma Rae Hymel, Shirley Hymel, and Dorothy Hymel.
