Charles William “Bill” Steele Bowling Green, KY- Charles William “Bill” Steele, 75, of Bowling Green, Kentucky entered into rest Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Medical Center. Bill was born October 15, 1942 in Bowling Green, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Lurie and Alma Dean Steele of Bowling Green, a brother George Steele of Bowling Green, and a sister Carolyn Kersey of Bowling Green.

Bill graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1962. He worked for Nehi-Royal Crown Bottling Company for 30 years. He retired from the Bowling Green Independent School system after ten years of service.

He was a member of Richardsville Church of Christ where he married his wife of 50 years, Linda Young Steele. He is deeply loved and missed by his survivors to include his wife, Linda, two daughters, Nicole Steele of Bowling Green, Julie Harris (Daniel) of Bowling Green, and his grandson, Gavin Harris, who he cherished and adored. Other survivors include his brothers Robbie Steele (Martha), Ronnie Steele (Mary), Steve Steele (Phyllis), and Buddy Steele (Delores) all of Bowling Green, sisters to include Phyllis Oliphant of Bowling Green, Joevelyn Steele of Bowling Green, Jan Pearson (Gerald) of Bowling Green, Teresa Newby (Ernie) of Jacksonville, FL, and Sue Nalley (Bernie) of Bowling Green, as well as, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial at Fairview Cemetery #2. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Richardsville Church of Christ, 2125 Richardsville Rd. , Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42101.
