Cherri’s Obituary Cherri Jean Peavy age 71, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Wayne Holwick officiating. Mrs. Peavy was a native of Bibb County but had made her home in Gordon.

She worked at ISP Alliance and at the Wilkinson Health Department. She was preceded in death by her parents John Thomas and Merlyn Holloman Whiting and a daughter Sherry Lynn Hartman. Survivors include her husband Louis Bert Peavy of Gordon, children, Ken Watson of Sparta, Peyton Pickett of Warner Robins, David Peavy of Danville, and Stacie Pettigrew of Milledgeville, a sister Judy Johnson of Warner Robins, grandchildren Amber Stubbs, Justin Stubbs, Mande Kern, Chris Pickett, Joey Pickett, Dylan Pettigrew and Jaydon Pettigrew.

Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
