Jerry’s Obituary Jerry C. “J.C.” Dixon age 87, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will be at Haddock Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon was born in the Haddock Community and work with J.P. Stevens for over 17 years. He later moved to Nashville Georgia and was the Manager of Amoco until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Burden Roy Dixon and Ruby Bryant Dixon, a brother Burden Roy Dixon, Jr. and two sisters Joyce Dixon Gordon and Shirley Dixon Wall.

Mr. Dixon enjoyed fishing and hunting Quail and was an avid Bowler. Survivors include his son Jerry C. Dixon, Jr. of Peachtree City, a daughter Ginger D. Mongato (Vincent) of Eatonton, two sisters Carolyn Scarborough of Macon and Frances Reeves (Gerald) of Milledgeville and his grandson Owen A. Dixon. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Moores Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Wounded Warriors or Hospice Care Options. Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
