James’ Obituary James Anthar Brown age 81, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will be at West View Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was a native of Roanoke, VA and lived in Texas before making his home in Milledgeville. He was retired from Dry Wall Masters and also managed Bear Camp Lake in Irwinton for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth Plum Brown and a daughter Jennie Johnson.

Survivors include his children, Danny Brown (Donna) of Macon, Kenneth Brown (Tracey) of Gordon, Diane Brown of Gordon and Lori Ann Patterson of Chattanooga, TN, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home. Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
