Christian “Chris”‘s Obituary Mr. Christian Bloch, better known as Chris, age 54, of Winfield, Alabama, formerly of Waycross, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mr. Bloch was materials manager for Clayton Homes for over 18 years. He served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1991.

Between 1990 and 1991 he served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Chris loved to play golf, the Tennessee Volunteers and the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gwendolyn Bloch of Winfield, Alabama, three daughters, Katelyn Bloch and Fiancé Jacob Gibson of Waycross, Makenzie Bloch of Waycross, and Emma Bloch of Winfield, Alabama, an uncle, Soren Bloch of Saint Helena, California, his mother and father in law, Phillis and Ray Carney of Clarksville, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Anneliese Mueller Bloch. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Jamestown Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed by signing online at www.
