Christine Mae Dill, 99 years 9 months & 30 days old, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday morning, April 25, 2018, at Logan Acres Care Center. She was born in Hunter, Arkansas on June 26, 1918 to the late Floyd Balser and Cella Ella (Guarnet) Petty. Christine married Ralph Paul Dill on April 9, 1939 in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her four silbings, Louis Petty, Amon Petty, Mary Norviel, and Marceline Anderson. Christine is survived by her children: Larry (Julia) Dill of Bellefontaine, Barbara (Sammy) Gonterman of Zanesfield, and Debbie Beaty of Westerville; seven grandchildren: Darrin Dill, Amy Lovett, Jennifer (Brent) Cheek, Brenda (Bryan) Defibaugh, Brandon Johnson, Ryan Beaty, and Christopher (Jennifer) Beaty; two great granddaughters, Megan Simpson and Chelsea Lovett and many step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Christine attended Goshen Friends Church outside of Zanesfield and enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles, sewing and watching birds in her yard.

She also loved to decorate for Christmas each year. Pastor Wayne Downing will officiate the funeral service on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where the visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
