Christopher Lee Morelock, age 48, of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at his home. He was a son of Rex and Linda Morelock. He was preceded in death by his son, Micaiah Wilson-Lee Morelock; maternal grandparents, Lillie and Otis Mallory; paternal grandparents, Harold and Mamie Morelock; mother and father-in-law, Woodrow and Edna McMakin.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. Chris worked as the Admissions Coordinator for Signature Health Care and Rehab for over 16 years. He held many “hats” during his time at Signature, but most importantly was his residents.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Patsy Morelock; daughters, Alexandria Manis and Grace Morelock; son, Cameron Morelock; grandson, Brian Manis; sister, Rebekah Luther; brother, Daniel Morelock; brother by love, Dale Templeton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville . The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev.

Robert Mallory officiating. The graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Signature Health Care Activities Department to help make their lives more fun.
