Obituary for Claire Bellmore Claire Bellmore, 89, of Pittsfield, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Rutland, VT on October 13, 1929 the daughter of Henry and Nora Fitzgerald McLaughlin and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland. After High School she moved to Pittsfield.

Mrs. Bellmore worked as a Teller at the former Union Federal Savings Bank on North St. for many years. She had previously worked at Liggett’s Drug Store. She enjoyed writing poems, playing cards and listening to Irish music.

For several years Claire would spend winters in Florida. She also enjoyed vacationing at Lake Bomoseen, VT. Mrs. Bellmore is survived by her four children, Diane Hunt, Bernie Bellmore, Jim Bellmore and Noreen O’Soro; a sister, Helen Anderson and two brothers, Maurice McLaughlin and Jim McLaughlin.

She also leaves 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Claire Bellmore will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA with the Rev. Peter Naranjo officiating.
