Obituary for Mrs. Mary E. Dean Mrs. Mary E. Dean (Fraley), 83, passed away peacefully at BMC on October 12th, 2018. A native of Dalton, she was born June 6, 1935, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Callahan) Fraley. She was married in Pittsfield on May 11, 1957 to Samuel R. Dean, Sr. where she lived the remainder of her life up until the last two years at Hillcrest Commons.

She leaves behind her husband, the love of her life of 61 years, 5 children: Mary Beth Collins (Tim), Elizabeth Engels (Steve), Samuel Jr. (Leslie) and the twins Michael and Mark, as well as 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers James and Clifford Fraley. Funeral Notice: In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services following her cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield MA 01201, in her memory.
