Obituary for Susan M. Nykorchuk Susan M. Nykorchuk, 70, died December 1, 2018 at her home in The Villages, Florida, after a long illness. Susan was born in Pittsfield May 13, 1948 to Alfred and Jane Sullivan Voisin and was a long time resident of Lenoxdale, Massachusetts. She graduated from Lenox High School and was a graduate of Albany Business College.

Susan retired after working several years at Berkshire County Arc where she was loved by many. Susan retired to the Villages, Florida where she enjoyed driving her golf cart nightly to the live concerts. She was an avid bingo player and she developed a love of quilting.

Susan married James Nykorchuk on September 6, 1969. The couple was married for 49 years. They raised three children, Michael, 48, Kari, 47 and Anthony 39.

Susan’s grandchildren and angels, Ella, 9 and Mia 6, brought new adventures to her life. Grandma was wrapped around their little fingers. Susan is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lucy Voisin of Lanesboro and sister-in-law Patricia Gavin of Pittsfield as well as many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Susan Nykorchuck will be on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor Emeritus. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 AM at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her name in care of the funeral home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Susan M.
