Obituary for Mr. Barry L. Rowland Mr. Barry L. Rowland, 73, of Pittsfield, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on November 26, 1944 the son of Robert and Anne Darbe Rowland, he attended schools in Springfield and earned and Associates degree from Springfield Technical College. He was a US Navy Veteran having served during Vietnam.

Barry was a cross country truck driver for many years. He later worked for the City of Pittsfield and County Ambulance. He was a member of the VFW Post 10338 in Lanesborough and a member of the DAV.

Mr. Rowland is survived by his wife, Madeleine A. Rowland and his two daughters, Brenda Rowland and Tinamarie Carpenter and her husband David. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Justin Rowland and his wife Leah, Laura Pratt and Nyssa Wesner and her fiancé Donald Williams and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mr. Barry L. Rowland will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 5 p.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA, with Rev.

William Furey officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Springfield. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday evening following the service until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home in his memory.
