Obituary for Mrs. Patricia M. Pulasky Tierney Mrs. Patricia M. Pulasky Tierney, 75, of Pittsfield passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittsfield on December 8, 1942 the daughter of Peter G. and Elizabeth F. Collins Pulasky. Patricia was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

She worked for General Electric and General Dynamics as an Administrative Assistant for 31 years, retiring in 2002. Mrs. Tierney was a communicate of St. Charles Church. She was the family matriarch, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved and cherished.

She enjoyed hosting all our family holiday parties at her home, she was a great cook, baker and avid gardener. You could always count on her to be there at any time and her door was always open. Her dog Nala, cat Smokey and back yard birds were her constant loving companions.

Back in the day she was a top candle pin bowler and pitch partner. She leaves a huge hole in our lives and will be forever loved and missed. Pat married William P. Tierney on June 10, 1967 in New Lebanon, NY.

He predeceased her on July 26, 2008. She is survived by her children, Karen M. Bristol (John), Mary Ellen Tierney, Michael W. Tierney, Dianne Pratt and William Tierney, Jr. (JoAnne); her four sisters, Barbara Holmes, Elizabeth Pulasky (Bill Guzzo), Kathleen Brunell (Butch), Deborah Pulasky and two brothers, Joseph Pulasky and William Pulasky; four grandchildren, Jessica T. Bristol, Cassidy L. Abbott, Nicholas W. Bristol and Courtney Cannon and one great-granddaughter, Kaylyn LaDouceur and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Besides her Parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Peter Pulasky and Robert Pulasky.

Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia M. Pulasky Tierney will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Dwyer Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Pastor Emeritus. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday evening, November 27, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to, HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in her memory.
