Obituary of Clarence Hard Clarence A. Hard June 28, 2018 Clarence A. Hard, 94, passed away Thursday June 28. Clarence was born on December 22, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA. His parents were William and Florence Mae Sterling Hard.

Mr. Hard was a High School graduate and served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He retired in 1986 after 38 years with PrestoLite. He was chairman of Local 964.

He had also worked for Edge-Tech after retirement. He was a also a member and deacon at the former First Baptist Church of East Syracuse. In 2016, he was a member of the Honor Flight of WWII Veterans who traveled to Washington to tour the War Memorials.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Verna and daughter Linda Dolphin. His family includes his son Mark (Nancy) of Syracuse; daughters: Nancy A. Cimino of Utica, Patricia A. (Benjamin) Gorgoni of Minoa; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Monday, July 2 at 11:00 am.
