Clarice J. Arbeiter, 90 of Murphysboro passed away at 12:03am on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in DuQuoin, IL. Clarice was born on January 27, 1929 in Jackson County, IL. a daughter to the late Ernest P. and Alice (Mileur) Fager.

She was united in marriage to Ralph Edward Arbeiter in Murphysboro on September 25, 1948; Ralph preceded her in death on December 19, 2005. Clarice was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob, IL. , and was a retired Postal Clerk for the United State Postal Service and was also a homemaker.

Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob; Rev. Mike Kettner will officiate. The family will receive guests at the church from 10am until noon on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

Burial of cremains will be private at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church and school; memorials will be accepted at the church, school or Crawshaw Funeral Home. Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Henry and Lynn Arbeiter of Brownsburg, IN.

, Carl and Mary Arbeiter of DeSoto, IL. , Gary Arbeiter (Patty) of Bloomington, IN. , and Allen Arbeiter of Murphysboro, one brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Betty Fager of Murphysboro, Daughter-in-law; Donna and her husband David Pelzer who was like a son to Clarice, grandchildren include, Raeanne Motsinger and husband Larry Cowan, Kyla Motsinger, Christina Arbeiter, Travis Arbeiter, Crystal and her husband Matt Dulaney, Katie Arbeiter, Nicole and husband Delvin McCarty, great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Cowan, Rilegh, Carlie and Wyatt Henry Dean Garcia, Skyler Dulaney, Ky Dulaney, Issac Nelson, Helen McCarty and Barrett McCarty.
